How to Format a Nokia 6600 Device

Primary Method

1. Turn your device off.
2. Remove SIM card and MMC card (actually, you do not need to remove these, but after format remember to format memory card and reboot phone).
3. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad Together.
4. Turn your device on while you are pressing the three buttons.
5. You should now see "Formatting .." on the Screen! Leave the buttons now.

Alternate Method

1. You can remove the mmc but keep the sim card and restart your phone.
2. Then press the keys *#7370#.
3. The phone would ask a confirmation.
4. Select yes.
5. Then it will ask for a code.
6. The code is 12345 (the default).
7. There you are! your phone will restart with all the phone memory formatted.

TIPS
* You can also use some programs to format the device for you.
* The format will not include the MMC Card, only the device (C Drive)…
* The above method isn't always easy. You can do the format using this simple key combination *#7370# and the phone will prompt you to enter the phone lock code which is 12345 by default.
* Also remember that you can reset your phone but not loose any of your personal files (I.E restore the settings that came when you bought the phone while keeping contacts etc) by following the above procedure but using the code *#7780#

A. New survey reveals that?

Young workers (age 18 to 24 years old) in the United States are twice as likely as older colleagues to steal office supplies for home use without thinking it is wrong according to a April 2006 Spherion Workplace Snapshot survey. And all those missing paper clips and pens add up to more than $50 billion a year.

"A lot of people that steal don't consider it stealing. They just consider it taking things or that it's a fringe benefit," said John Case, head of Employeetheft. com, a security consulting firm based in Del Mar, California.

WORKPLACE THEFT

The types of cash, merchandise and property theft respondents most often admitted to were:

- Taking company supplies for personal use (35%)

- Taking merchandise or equipment (17%)

- Giving or receiving refunds for unpurchased items (7%)

- 49 percent of the respondents admitted eating food without paying, many of the employees indicated that they were allowed to

- 44 percent of the employees admitted engaging in some type of cash, merchandise or property theft

ABSENTEEISM AND TARDINESS

- 42 percent of the respondents had come to work late without permission

- 24 percent had left work early without authorization

- 19 percent had abused sick days

- 18 percent had been absent from work without good reason

- In total, 59 percent of the sample admitted to some type of "time theft." Nineteen percent reported that they committed some type of time theft at least once a month.

Nonproductive Computer Use at Work

- Very few respondents (2.2%) reported spending more than 12 hours a week using their work computer to catch up on personal tasks (e.g., banking, shopping, vacation planning), with 18% spending at least one hour per week doing so. Approximately 50% indicated that they never used their work computer to catch up on personal tasks.

- Only .4% indicated spending more than 12 hours a week using their work computers to "take breaks" from their day (e.g., sending personal email, surfing the web, playing games). Nearly 17% spent at least one hour per week "taking breaks" while 46% reported never doing so. These latter two questions, combined,

B. What is HIPET?

There is wide-spread concern about the honesty and integrity of employees. Most organizations have serious problems of pilferage, absenteeism, tardiness, employee disagreements that lead to violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and computer misuse. The annual loss from these counterproductive behaviors is estimated in the billions of dollars. There was a clear need for a brief assessment that could be used as part of the pre-employment screening process. HIPET (Honesty and Integrity Pre-Employment Tests) was developed to meet that need.

HIPET assesses six areas of potentially counterproductive behaviors by a self-descriptive inventory that taps six substantive areas of concern as well a Good Impression (validity) scale.

POST-DOCTORAL Positions in Neurological Disease

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join the DiDonato laboratory in the Human Molecular Genetics Program at Childrens Memorial Research Center, Department of Pediatrics, Northwestern University. The overall theme of the laboratory is to decipher the underlying mechanisms of neuromuscular disease and develop treatment strategies. Our major research focus is on spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a fatal pediatric motor neuron disease, which is caused by low levels of the survival motor neuron (SMN) protein.

Positions are available to 1) decipher the timing and spatial requirements of SMN expression 2) determine the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) using mouse models 3) to define the regulatory mechanisms that goven SMN expression and test therapies in vivo for their ability to rescue disease phenotype.

In all instances we will use a variety of in vitro and in vivo approaches that utilize a novel series of mice that we have generated. Examples of some of the mouse projects include: determining SMNs temporal and spatial requirements using SMN inducible mice in combination with tissue-specific CRE or tamoxifen-inducible CRE mice. We have projects that are aimed specifically at therapeutic treatments as well.

Applicants should have a PhD, PhD/MD or DVM degree and be proficient in molecular and cell biology techniques. Candidates that have experience in a) developmental neurobiology, b) neuromuscular research C) ES cell manipulation and differentiation or D) in vivo drug studies in mice or E) gene regulation (ChIP, DHS mapping, etc) are especially encouraged to apply.

A proven performance record in the form of peer-reviewed publications, integration with the international research community and demonstrated ability to conduct research independently and within multi-disciplinary teams, will be essential. A programmer / data analyst position is available in Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC) at UNC Chapel Hill, for conducting biomedical image analysis research. The successful applicant will be trained to work broadly in biomedical image analysis field, and to help integrate various software packages developed in the research labs. This position needs to work with a multidisciplinary team on biomedical imaging.

The successful applicant must have a master degree in computer science or related engineering fields. He/She must be strong in programming, and familiar with C/C++, Matlab, ITK/VTK, and SPM. Experience with Linux is highly desired. Knowledge on biomedical imaging, computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing is very helpful.

The Rolland-Lagan lab at the University of Ottawa is specializing in computational and developmental biology. We use a combination of experimental work, microscopy, image analysis and computer simulations to explore developmental mechanisms in two and three dimensions. We are particularly interested in the patterning of branching and network structures in plants and animals and are seeking strong postdoctoral candidates with a biology and/or a computer science background to apply for funding through the University of Ottawa Vision 2010 postdoctoral fellowship competition.

Position is to be taken up by December 31, 2008, and is for two years ($50,000 per year). Candidates must have completed or received a PhD degree no more than two years before the intended application deadline; or be expected to complete their PhD before January 1, 2009.

Senior Lecturer applicants must have an established international reputation in physiological research and an ability to teach a number of physiological topics. Lecturer applicants must have a postdoctoral background in physiological research and an undergraduate degree in physiology or closely related subject; teaching experience is desirable. Applicants should have teaching experience or a strong background in more than one of the following teaching areas or their components: (1) cellular, molecular or integrative neurophysiology, (2) cardiovascular, respiratory or renal integrative physiology and (3) cellular physiology, membrane biology, epithelial and ion transport, renal physiology or gastro-intestinal physiology.

Cultural Programs

The city of Jakarta, being the capital of Indonesia, is by far, the largest
and most important city in Indonesia. Amidst crowded and dynamic city life,
you can find many interesting and historic sightseeing sites accross the
city. To discover what Jakarta is really like, a guided city tour will be
organized for all participants of the summer school on Wednesday, August 13,
2008.

Aside from the guided city tour, there will be two joint dinners for
lecturers and students. The first dinner will be held on Wednesday August 6,

Kemarin saya dan mas lilik suheri (UPT Team) sengaja membuat dokumentasi pembuatan antena kaleng. Tutorial ini sangat panjang dan tidak mungkin saya tuliskan di blog ini karena bandwidth limited (bandwidth orang Indonesia). Tapi sebagai panduan sebelum Anda merencanakan membuat atau mendownload tutorial ini baca penjelasan berikut ini.

Pertama, untuk dapat mendownload file ini Anda harus bergabung dulu di Yahoo Sunatan (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sunatan)atau kalau tidak mau bergabung silakan cari di AMIKOM (http://dosen.amikom.ac.id/).

Kedua, tetapkan tujuan di area mana Anda berada. Jika Anda berada di wilayah Hot Spot Area yang tidak terproteksi untuk akses internetnya maka Anda sangat cocok untuk membaca tutorial ini dan mengimplementasikannya. Sangat cocok juga bagi mahasiswa yang di kampusnya menyediakan AP (Access Point), dengan syarat jarak kos dan kampus tidak terlalu jauh. Cocok juga bagi Anda yang ingin mengekplorasi signal Wi-Fi yang ada di angkasa tempat Anda tinggal. Biasanya ada juga Wi-Fi yang aksesnya dibuka untuk umum (kalau Indonesia kelihatannya jarang ada yang seperti ini).

Ketiga, belilah perangkat berikut di toko elektronik terdekat di kota Anda (kecuali WLAN Card) untuk membuat antena kaleng.
Belilah kaleng yang mempunyai diameter 10 centimeter dan panjangnya 33 centimeter (lebih gpp, nanti bisa dipotong). Biasanya kaleng yang mempunyai diameter seperti ini adalah kaleng twister atau astor. Ingat belinya di supermarket jangan di toko komputer atau toko elektronik, harganya sekitar Rp. 1114.000;-
WLAN Card jenis PCI untuk PC biasa (komputer jangkrik) merk bebas. Punya saya D-Link DWL G510 yang harganya dulu Rp. 380.000, sekarang kira-kira harganya Rp. 340.000 dengan merk terbaru DWL G520.
Kabel RG 58 sepanjang 15 meter maksimal, lebih panjang dari itu tidak disarankan karena bisa memperlambat transfer data. Punya saya sendiri panjangnya 7 meter yang tadinya 13 meter.
SMA Connector (bukan anak SMA) harganya Rp. 11.000;-
N Connector atau Socket TNC Segel Chasis.
Plug TNC RG 58 CRMPG.

The information contained in this document is intended for the Sampoerna Foundation Overseas MBA Scholarship, pertinent to the 2009 intake only.

Applicant must satisfy ALL of the following conditions:
1. Indonesian citizen who is under 35 years of age when lodging the application.
2. Hold a local Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale)
3. Have a minimum of two-year full-time professional work experience after the completion of the undergraduate degree.
4. Have valid proof (validity of two years) of:
International TOEFL with a minimum score of 600 (PBT) or 250 (CBT) or 100 (IBT), OR
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of minimum 6.5 (for MBA Australia only)*
5. Have valid proof (validity of five years):
GMAT test scores above 600 with verbal score to be 25 or above*
6. Currently did not enroll in graduate or post-graduate program, or obtained a Master's degree or equivalent.
7. Did not enroll or graduate from an overseas tertiary institution, unless was on a full scholarship.
8. Do not receive other equivalent award or scholarship offering similar or other benefits at the time of the award.
9. Demonstrate that without the scholarship, they are not able to afford an Overseas MBA Program.

* GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS score can be submitted when the applicants pass the Sampoerna Foundation Selection Stage and chosen as Finalists. The finalists then must have a valid score as required by each program.

** All applicants selected as Finalists for MBA France shall have to take language course in the appointed institution by SCAC and pass the DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) B1 & B2 test.

Any applicant proves to have forged information in his/her application form or any of the documents attached therein will be immediately disqualified.

Application deadline is May 30, 2008. Applications should be submitted as early as possible.

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP)

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) are demand-driven fellowship programmes designed to foster capacity building within organizations in 57 countries in development by providing training and education to their mid-career staff members. The NFP are funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the budget for development cooperation.

The need for education and training must occur within the organization of the applicant. This means that applicants must be nominated by their employers. In fact, applications without the support of an employer will not be considered.

Nuffic (the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education) administers the NFP on behalf of the Minister for Development Cooperation. The Minister determines the policy that governs the framework of the NFP programme. Nuffic manages and monitors the programmes as a whole. The Dutch organizations selected to provide the required education and training are responsible for awarding and administering the fellowships.

There are 5 (five) NFP programmes

NFP fellowships for master's degree programmes: fellowships for study leading to a master's degree
NFP fellowships for PhD studies: fellowships for study leading to a PhD
NFP fellowships for short courses: fellowships for short courses
NFP Tailor-made training courses: financing for specific tailor-made training programmes at the request of organizations in the NFP countries
NFP Refresher courses: financing for courses aimed at strengthening the benefits of earlier NFP training

NFP Master's, NFP Short Courses and NFP PhD award fellowships to individuals. NFP Tailor Made finances tailor-made training courses that are designed to meet the specific training needs of an organization in one of the NFP countries. NFP Refresher Courses finances courses for NFP alumni who would like to prolong the effect of earlier learning and update their knowledge and skills.

Applicants for PhD studies, master's degree programmes or short courses must first gain academic admission to the course of their choice before applying for a fellowship through the Netherlands embassy or consulate in their country. Also, they can only apply for an NFP fellowship if the course is on the NFP course list for that particular year.

In all cases, applicants are advised to contact the Netherlands Education Centre (NEC) well in advance for specific instructions, and to inquire about specific local procedures and deadlines, requirements and selection criteria. AdSense Tricks: How to Increase CTR

An increase in CTR can mean a lot to AdSense Revenue. To increase AdSense revenue, either you have to increase traffic or increase CTR.

If somehow, you manage to triple your CTR just by tweaking the Google AdSense code, that equals three times boost in your traffic. Here are a few tips for increasing your CTR.

What Webmasters have concluded

Webmasters have very diverse views on how to increase CTR. It largely depends upon the keywords you are targeting, looks of your website, the quality of its content, placement of AdSense ads, page optimization and various other factors. Generally, AdSense blocks wrapped between the quality content works the best. For the websites having poor quality content, placing the Ads before the start of the content works best.

If you develop a poor quality content website, it will likely give you high CTR and clicks, but you will be getting low priced ads and also nobody will like to add your url to their favorites. But if you have quality content, that keeps the visitors glued, you may get low CTR, but you will be getting high priced ads and regular visitors, too.

Proper positioning of ads on your website has direct impact on your CTR. Change the location of the ads and watch changes in your CTR regularly. Try to locate the area of the page where the focus of the visitor can be. Generally, AdSense ads near the quality content or other crucial areas like navigation bar tend to perform better. But it really depends upon the keywords you are targeting, and the traffic you have. As the Google engineers say, more user friendly ads, more widespread tend to do better than towers and others.

The Traffic

AdSense comes after traffic. No traffic, no AdSense. Take a great care of your traffic. Your visitors expect some valuable information from you. Make sure you are providing quality content to them. This will increase your visitors' return back ratio. And only those visitors will return who are more targeted to the content you are providing. More targeted users mean more CTR. 85 percent of my visitors add my website urls in their Favorites, and most of them do return.

Install a Website stats monitoring software and regularly look at your web logs, and get a handle on where your traffic is coming from. Try to establish a pattern or relation between your AdSense stats and your traffic stats, so that if there are any marked deviations you can make a judgment on why there has been an increase/decrease and what (if anything) you can do about it.
This will give you new ideas to develop traffic.

Experiments

Experiment and experiment a lot, till you are satisfied with the tweaks you have done to achieve highest CTR. Track your page performance by making channels of ads in your AdSense Control Panel and experiment till you are satisfied with your CTR. Though, each such experiment will make you loose money for a day or two, as Google may take time to adjust with new changes, but it will be beneficial in long run.

I've been reading a few forums and blogs about Google Adsense tips lately, and thought it would be helpful to consolidate as many as possible in one place without the comments. I've also thrown in a few tips of my own. We start out with some of the basic general stuff and move to the more specific topics later on.

Build an Empire?

When you're deciding to become a website publisher you will fall into one of two broad categories:

Publish 100 websites that each earn $1 a day profit
Publish 1 website that earns $100 a day profit

The reality of it is, most people end up somewhere in between. Having 100 websites leaves you with maintenance, management and content issues. Having one website leaves you open to all sort of fluctuations (search engines algorithm's, market trends, etc). You can adapt your plan on the way, but you'll have an easier time if you start out going in the direction of where you want to end up.

General or Niche

You can build your website around general topics or niche ones. Generally speaking niche websites work better with adsense. First off the ad targeting is much better. Secondly as you have a narrow focus your writing naturally becomes more expert in nature. Hopefully this makes you more authority in your field.

If this is your first try at building an adsense website, make it about something you enjoy. It will make the process much easier and less painful to accomplish. You should however make sure that your topic has enough of an ad inventory and the payout is at a level you are comfortable with. You may love medieval folk dancing, but the pool of advertisers for that subject is very small (in fact it's currently zero).

Once you've gotten the hang of how Adsense works on a website, you are going to want to dabble in some high paying keywords, you may even be tempted to buy a high paying keyword list. This does come with some dangers. First off the level of fraud is much higher on the big money terms. Secondly there is a distortion of the supply and demand relationship for these terms. Everyone wants ads on their website that make $35 or more a click, however the number of advertisers who are willing to pay that much is pretty limited. Additionally the competition for that traffic is going to be stiff. So, don't try to run with the big dogs if you can't keep up. If you have to ask if you're a big dog, then chances are, you're not. I have used a high dollar keywords report from cashkeywords.com and was pleased with my results (see cash keywords free offer recap).

New Sites, Files and Maintenance

When you're building a new site don't put adsense on it until it's finished. In fact I'd go even farther and say don't put adsense on it until you have built inbound links and started getting traffic. If you put up a website with "lorem ipsum" dummy or placeholder text, your adsense ads will almost certainly be off topic. This is often true for new files on existing websites, especially if the topic is new or different. It may take days or weeks for google's media bot to come back to your page and get the ads properly targeted. TIP: If you start getting lots of traffic from a variety of IP's you will speed this process up dramatically.

I like to build my sites using include files. I put the header, footer and navigation in common files. It makes it much easier to maintain and manage. I also like to put my adsense code in include files. If I want/need to change my adsense code, it's only one file I have to work with. TIP: I also use programming to turn the adsense on or off. I can change one global variable to true or false and my adsense ads will appear or disappear.

Managing URL's and channels

Adsense channels is one area where it's really easy to go overboard with stats. You can set up URL channels to compare how one website is doing to another. You can also set up sub channels for each URL. If you wanted to you do something channels like this:

domain1.com - 728 banner
domain1.com - 336 block
domain1.com - text link
domain2.com - 728 banner
domain2.com - image banner
domain2.com - 336 block
domain3.com - 300 block

While this is great for testing and knowing who clicks where and why, it makes your reporting a little wonky. Your total number will always be correct but when you look at your reports with a channel break down things will get displayed multiple times and not add up to correct total. Makes things pretty confusing, so decide if you really need/want that level of reporting detail. TIP: At the very least you want to know what URL is generating the income so be sure to enter distinct URL channels.

Site Design and Integration

Once you know you are going to put adsense on your website you're going to have to consider where to put it. If this is new site it's easier, if it's an existing site it's more difficult. While there are some people who will be able to do it, in most cases I'd say if you just slap the adsense code in, you'll end up with a frankensite monster (props to Tedster of WMW for the buzzword). While every website is different, Google has published some heat maps showing the optimal locations. No surprise that the best spots are middle of the page and left hand side. Now I've done really well by placing it on the right, but you should know why you're doing it that way before hand, and be prepared to change it if it doesn't work out.

Google has also has published a list of the highest performing ad sizes:

336×280 large rectangle
300×250 inline rectangle
160×600 wide skyscraper

From the sites that I run, I do really well with the 336 rectangle and 160 skyscraper. My next best performing ad size is the 728 leaderboard, I don't really use the 300 inline rectangle too often. So really it depends on how well you integrate these into your site. Placement can have a dramatic effect on performance. TIP: When working on a new site or new layout you may want to give each location it's own channel for a little while until you understand the users behavior.

Another 'trick' that can increase your CTR is by blending your adsense into your body copy. For example if your body copy is black, remove the adsense border and make the title, text, and URL black.TIP: Try changing all of your page hyperlinks to a high contrast color (like dark red or a bold blue) then change the adsense title to the same color.

The one area where I've found blended ads don't perform as well is forums, especially ones with a high volume of repeat members. Regular visitors develop banner blindness pretty quickly. One 'trick' to keep the ads from being ignored is to randomize the color and even the placement. As with any of the decisions about location, placement and color it's a trade off. How much do you emphasize the ads without annoying your visitors. Remember it's better to have a 1% CTR with 500 regular visitors as opposed to a 5% CTR with 50 visitors. TIP: For forums try placing the adsense ads directly above or below the the first forum thread.

Using Images

One of the latest 'secrets' to make the rounds is using images placed directly above or below an adsense leaderboard. This has been used for a while but came out in a digital point forum thread where a member talked about quadrupling their CTR. Basically you set up the adsense code in a table with four images that line up directly with the ads. Whether or not this is deceptive is fuzzy and very subjective. Obviously four blinking arrows would be 'enticing people to click' and be against the adsense TOS. However placing pictures of 4 laptops over laptops ads isn't, so use your best judgment here and look at it from the advertiser or Google's perspective. If you have a question as to your implementation being 'over the line' write to adsense and ask them to take a look.

As far as using the images, I've done it and can tell you it definitely works. You get the best results when the images 'complete the story the ads are telling'. For example if you have ads about apple pies, use pictures of freshly baked apple pies, instead of granny smith, Macintosh, pink lady, and braeburn apples. TIP: Don't limit yourself to using images only on that size ad unit, it works just as well with the other sizes, like the 336 rectangle.

Added:
I got a little criticizm for this and rightly so, as I wasn't specific as I could have been. Do not use very identifiable brand name or products for your images. Use generic non-specific stock images whenever possible and appropriate.

Multiple Ad Units

Another way to increase ad revenue is to use multiple ad units. According to Google's TOS you are allowed to post up to three ad units per page. Similar to standard search results the highest paying ad units will be served first and the lowest being served last. If there is enough of an ad inventory, place all three ad units. However you should pay attention to the payouts. Current assumption is you get 60% of the revenue (on a $0.05 click you get $0.03). So if a click from the third ad unit is only paying between 3 to 5 cents you may want to omit it from your page. This is one are where giving your ad units channels does have value. If one ad unit is getting a higher percentage of click throughs you'll want to make sure the highest paying ads are being served there. TIP:Use CSS positioning to get your highest paying ads serving in the location with the highest CTR.

Adsense in RSS

With the growth of blogs and RSS feeds you're starting to see adsense included in the feeds now. IMHO this doesn't work, and here's why:

You only get to place one ad unit.
You have no control over finding the 'sweet spot' for the ad unit.
The ads are usually poorly targeted (this is getting better).
People develop 'banner blindness'.

I know people like being able to read full postings in their feed reader, and there are at least a dozen other reasons for full posts from pleasing your users to mobile offline computing, all of which are completely valid. However if your website depends on generating adsense revenue to survive, then bring them to the site and show them the ads there.

Affiliate Sites

Placing Adsense on affiliate sites is tricky. Are you giving up a $10, $20, or $30 sale for a $1 click? This is something you have to test on your own to figure out. If you aren't converting now it's definitely worth a try. I like to use adsense on my article pages. For example let's say you had an affiliate website where you sold shoes. You're going to need some related articles to 'flesh out' the site. Things like 'getting a shoe shine' or 'finding a shoe repair shop' these are excellent spots for adsense. While you won't get rich, they will usually provide a small steady income and cover things like hosting costs.TIP: If you find you have pages getting more than 50 clicks per month add more pages about this topic, and link the pages together. Mine you logs for the search terms used.

PPC Arbitrage

This is a dicey subject so I'm going to steer clear of precise examples. Basically you bid on low volume uber niche terms at a very low cost. You set up landing page that contains high payout ads for the related general topic. You are looking for terms with a large gap between the price you are bidding on adwords and the price you are getting on Adsense. If you pay $0.10 a click and get $1.00 a click you make $0.90 each click. To get your adsense ad approved you will need to 'add some value' along the way. You can make a killing or get taken to the cleaners with this one, so make sure you know what you are doing before you try it.

728 leaderboard works very well if it is just above the end of the
"above the fold" area on what would be considered your viewers average
resolution/browser window size if there are few other enticing links
above the fold. Makes for an interesting layout but if you're building
a site for AdSense it may be worth it. We consistently receive very
high CTRs from doing this.

Try to build sites that allow you to quickly try any and all of
those locations outlined in the heatmap guide or at least allow you a
wide degree of freedom to easily change ad/content locations.

The competition identifies and rewards the academic excellence and leadership potential of 150 of the most accomplished second-year students from all disciplines for GSGLP (The Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program).
The Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program recognizes the 150 Global Leaders' outstanding achievements and abilities by awarding each U.S. $3,000.

have high academic standing as demonstrated by grades received in the final year of secondary school (high school) and first year in college or university. Eligible candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.4/4.0 or international equivalent, or be in the top 10% of his/her class;
be full-time students in the second-year of a university undergraduate degree program at one of the universities invited to participate in the 2007-2008 program year;
be pursuing their first undergraduate degree (all fields of study accepted); and demonstrate competency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in English is necessary to participate fully in the Global Leadership Institute.

Only nominated students will be asked to submit an application for the Global Leaders Program. Once the Scholarships & Prizes Office has received the nominations, selected students will be given the opportunity to apply. You cannot apply directly. An application consists of the following materials. These materials are not optional all materials must be submitted in order for an application to be reviewed by the selection panel. Students should contact the program if they are unable to submit some materials.
A completed electronic application. Application instructions will be sent to all nominated students via email. The application must be completed and submitted online; a printed copy must also be sent to IIE/New York with the supporting documents (detailed below.)
An official transcript from the first year of college or university. Include an official explanation of marks from the university.
An official transcript from the final year of secondary school.
University entrance examination scores. Applicants must submit a photocopy of the official results. Original results are not required.
Two letters of recommendation. One letter must come from a university faculty member. The other letter may come from another university faculty member or an adult, non-family member who has supervised the nominee's education, work, or other activities. Letters must come from two different recommender.
Resume. Curriculum Vitae, highlighting student's experiences and accomplishments.
